Mitsubishi Evolution 5

Released in 1998, the Evo 5 was the model halfway though the production run for the Evolution series.
Some of the upgrades that were bought to the Mitsubishi Evo 5 are as follows –
- Upgraded Interior
- New aluminium rear spoiler
- larger guard flares
- Larger wheels (from 16 to 17 inch)
- Wider track for better handling
- Upgraded brake cylinder
Also, this EVO 5 model had updated turbos increasing torque to 373 N·m (275 lb·ft) at 3000 rpm as apposed to the previous EVO 4 model at 330 N·m (243 lb·ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm . Actual power was officially the same as the EVO 4 at 280 PS(206 kW; 276 hp though unofficially many tests have shown the EVO5 power to be significantly higher than the preceding Evo 4 model.
