Capable of 260 Kilometers and hour (160 Miles an Hour) this was one of the fastest street cars of its time and is still a legend in the Porsche world.
Famous (Infamous?) for the turbo lag, it is a car that has caught many a inexperienced driver out as mid corner the Turbo kicks in with all 300 HP resulting in a nasty out of control spin. It is still a force of German engineering to be reckoned with, even for experienced drivers. Prices for these Porsche 930 Turbos are now on the up and up for stunning examples, as this one is. At auction it had 22 000ks on the Odometer.
This particular car was a Japanese delivered vehicle, one of the last sent before Porsche stopped sending the Porsche 930 Turbo to Japan because of the new emissions laws here. (Though Porsche commenced sending the 930 Turbo to Japan in 1986 with the emission-controlled engine.
